Speaking of music heavyweights, how about these two behemoths shooting the shit about their upcoming joint concert tour at the recent Foxwoods gig- noted author (The Arc of Intersection) /balladeer (Tom Needs a Nap) Chris DuBose and legendary bluesman/Cher hubby Greg Allman. Perhaps they are hearkening back to the Allman Brothers at the New Haven Coliseum (w/ Grinderswitch) circa 1975 with JohnnyK and Kenny? Gregg just released Low Country Blues, his first solo effort since 1997 recorded last year just prior to his liver transplant. You can hear it here (thanks Chris/Megan) - it's very good, produced by T-Bone Burnett (wondering what album in the last two years hasn't been) with guest appearance by Dr. John. :
