Up early Friday.....the buzz about Johnny Gumbo Piano Shirt Friday has been UNBELIEVABLE.....weather forcast from undergroundweather.com leaves us a little uneasy. Perusing the cubes to plan today's music (saw many people on the plane with their cubes, one guy even had his laminated!):
1:00- Lil Band of Gold and Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes (who also play at Maple Leaf tonight)
3:00- Lil Nathan & the Zudeco BigTimers
4:30- Tony Joe White (Poke Salad Annie, gator got your granny) and Amanda Shaw & the Cute Guys (she was great last year)
6:00- ZZ Top and Counting Crows
All day- gospel/blues/zydeco
Breakfast of eggs/grits/biscuits with Johnny Gumbo across the street at P&G Restaurant-Bar, which seems like a local hangout. The PIANO SHIRT is ready to go.
