Arriving in town for Jazz Fest....

After circling Newark Airport for about an hour as Mark tried to find the perfect parking spot, we were off on our three hour flight to the Big Easy. First celebrity sighting of the trip occurs as we deplane, passing Danny Glover, whom Barry claims was a very appreciative patron of his back in the early 1990's. A quick cab ride into town with a woman from Elay who was attending her first Fest. Checked into our posh hotel (selected personally by Johnny Gumbo) and headed out to Ryan's Irish Pub on Decatur for some Abita ambers and pool.

We spent the afternoon alternating between playing pool (yes, we kicked ass AGAIN) and catching some great music at the Louisiana Music Factory - some Texas swing from Gal Holiday and great funk (go figure) from Papa Grows Funk.
Self-explanatory
