We can't make sure the drains on the I84 renovations in Cheshire are completed correctly, but we've got a great idea for you to consider.....

The Hartford Courant's Eric Danton informs us that "...State House Democrats this week announced their proposal for a Connecticut music hall of fame, and distributed a tentative list of potential inductees." Danton lists those proposed (too funny!) and offers constructive additions, such as Chistine Ohlman, GE Smith, etc.- Danton blog

My questions: Will there be a funny looking building and a TV awards show and everything? Are these guys paying attention to my tax money? Anyway, if this must be, then Keith Richards is a given, for when you think of CT music, who else?

My suggestions (in addition to Mr. Richards):
  • Wild Weeds, not just Big Al (he should also make it on his own)
  • Jim Koplik/Shelly Finkel for bringing some amazing concerts to CT
  • Brad Davis, love him or hate him, he had a big impact on CT music
  • The late, great Shaboo Inn

Got any thoughts? Well get some.
