The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has not yet announced that final TBA spot for the 2nd weekend of 2012 Jazz Fest. It makes SO much sense that it would be the Black Keys- they have played the 2009 Voodoo Fest and the Nola House of Blues; Dan Auerbach is reportedly making a record with Dr. John to be released in 2012. Just do it, boys! UPDATE: According to this article , "The other TBA likely won't announce his plans until January. So the
festival accommodated him, in the interest of building a better overall
show." Is the singular reference a ploy or are we out of luck? Unfortunately, I'm guessing the latter.
Great news for our new fav band, Low Cut Connie. NPR's Fresh Air has chosen Get Out the Lotion as one of its Top 10 Albums of the Year. We, of course, knew this already, didn't we?
