I can (finally) hear music...

Since returning from Jazz Fest in early May, my concert-going has been limited to one weekday evening at Bushnell Park for the Blackeyed 'N Blues Festival and one Saturday night at Bonterra for dinner and music. But enough of running golf tournaments, completing my CPE credits, etc., the next month seems to be stocked with good stuff (although I did miss the Felice Brothers at Cafe Nine last night!)

Monday nights at Bushnell Park in Hartford for the Summer Jazz Series.

7/24 Friday evening in NYC with the boys from Brooklyn to see Bettye LaVette at Central Park Summerstage. They do not yet know of this, so I'd better tell them soon.

7/31 Friday night at the Litchfield Jazz Festival with Trish/George for its opening gala and performance by Jane Monheit.

8/5 Wednesday night at Cafe Nine to catch Rosie Flores.

8/6 Thursday night at Oakdale to see Bonnie Raitt (splendid at Jazz Fest) and Taj Mahal with the Andersons (and possibly the Valentes)

8/8 Saturday night with Sarah Borges & the Broken Singles at Hygienic Art Park in New London, CT. Anyone want to go with us?
