This weekend, Meriden's annual
Daffodil Festival brings lots of good music, including headliners
Eric Burden & the Animals. I don't care if there are any original Animals (actually, original guitarist Hilton Valentine is in the band), for Burden is a great rock/blues performer in his own right. In addition, catch SNL's
Christine Ohlman & Rebel Montez, Plantsville's own
The Sawtelles, and
The D. Smith Blues Band.
