Email from Johnny Gumbo with the news that the cubes, which list the dates, times and stages of the performers at the 2008 New Orleans Jazz $ Heritage Festival, are out on the JazzFest website. Gumbo feels, with good reason, that the first weekend seems the stronger. We are 2nd weekend guys. I'm especially bummed about missing Alison Krauss/Robert Plant. But that's the beauty of the event, there is SO much great music to be found, that to be lazy and only go for the national acts is your loss.Hoping that the Pool Hall Studs' performance at Ryan's Pub is better than last year's, which failed to live up to the duo's lofty rep.
