Super Bowl Music Matchup

To offset the inevitably DREADFUL halftime music production (can't we just bring back THE Ohio State University marching band doing Script Ohio?), we'll have an alternative music event:
WHO HAS THE BETTER MUSIC -
Philadelphia Eagles or New England Patriots?

What about Boston's "More Than a Feeling"?

Is there a more pathetic sdong than "Philadelphia Freedom"? That, in and of itself, should disqualify anyone from a Super Bowl appearance!!

THat's song not, well, you know!

Dear Anony,
I agree with your assessment of Philly Freedom. I cringe every time I hear it. Will post your thoughts.

James Taylor???????? The Standels "Dirty Water"????? Not even close! You might as well throw in The Barbarians "Are you a boy, or are you a girl". Granted Boston was a good group, But you don't have the space, and I don't have the time to list all of Phillys groups, or the fact that they owned the charts for many years in Rock N Roll music. "Philly" Music gets my vote - hands down! "But" since I like the Pats - they will win the Super Bowl! Now the rest of the story....... Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, Frankie Avalon, Paul Anka, Sister Sledge, Fabian, Soul Survivors, and of course - the legendary "Dovells" of Bristol Stomp fame, to only name a few! Go Pats!!!!! But the music is a no brainer - Philly sound rules.

Come on. The home of American Bandstand and Philly soul. No question. But the Pats will prevail on the gridiron.
