A cheerfully gift-wrapped bottle of Pickled Green Beans from Parker Pickles, eminently suitable for late morning Bloody Marys at Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar, appeared at the office this morning with a Merry Christmas note from expatriate Johnny Gumbo! Cheers, buddy, next round is on the Pool Hall Studs! On a related note, it appears that Mother's has retaliated against Gumbo's 2009 Jazzfest tirade by coercing the Staybridge Suites into banning us from accommodations for next year's Fest! So, what do we do now? Last time we left it up to Gumbo to choose, the results were not well received.
