Quick, uneventful trip to Newark listening to Lil Band of Gold, Black Keys, Keb Mo, etc with fuel stop in White Plains with Mark Texeiera (told him to give our love to John/Susan).  Flight to Louis Armstrong Airport with a two hour layover in D.C., enough time to watch the Celts go down 11, but claw their way back to almost even as we re-board.  Landing in New Orleans - THE CELTS WIN!

Garland ready for us with beer/fried chicken for the trip into town.  Says he has not heard from Mark/Lisa from Jersey yet.  Too late to pick up discount Fest tickets at the Superdome, so we head straight for the hotel.  It's late.  Quick beers at Lucy's and Kangaroo Vic's.  A text from Mickey W saying he is over at Frenchmen's Street.  Can't do it, gotta crash.  Will catch up to him later in the week.
